My Name is Melissa, I am 16 and a very curious girl. Never have I thought I would start a sentence like this. Honestly, two years ago, I wouldn’t even thought of going in the internet and posting something about my life. Because, who cares?
The number of people who care hasn’t increased since then, no not really, but my mind-set really did. Now, I do not care who cares and who not.
I am doing that for me.
Nobody else will stop me
For sure, it was not easy, the way to that mindset. The journey was long and is still going on. But I have a chance. And I will take it.
On the first of september, a plane will take me to England. A car will take me to Southend-on-Sea, a town an hour away from London. My host family will meet me again and I will live in a wonderful house, My school is just a few meters away and I can even walk to the beach.
A dream will finally come true
I am so excited. And I invite you to be excited with me. Follow me around. Day to day, living a whole new life. I want to tell my story. And I want to write my future
